End of our journey in Cambodia

This is where we say goodbye to Cambodia in Siem Riep. It is a wonderful country. We will always remember Cambodia and its World Heritage site of Angkor Wat.

Kids.

Cambodians smile easily and win over anyone.

Lovely Cambodian children.

Tipin at the gate near the Siem Riep river. Notice the snake here.

High quality furniture

A laughing Buddha although Buddha himself never looked like this.

A very heavy bed.

We did not know what kind of wood it was but probably teac or mahogany.

They are so well made and carved.

We appreciated the high quality furniture made here in Siem Riep.

This is a monastery.

These stupas are always found in wats.

Another stupa that contains relics.

Siem Riep

Tipin near the boat.

Everything about a wat in Cambodia is ornate starting with the gate.

Probably it is the replica of a ceremonial boat.

On the grounds we saw this huge ornate boat made of cement .

In Siem Riep we saw this wat and the Buddha image inside.

Here the artist himself. He is quite hi tech and has e mail address and takes orders for these marvelous Apsaras and then ships them worldwide.

This one is certainly a masterpiece.

We found a sculptor who makes these wonderful Apsaras .
