Phnom Penh

The Cambodians honor the Vietnamese in this monument because it was the Vietnamese that saved them from the Khmer Rouge that had ruled Cambodia so ruthlessly.

Acres of green lawn sooth the eye.

Here we see the mythical snake of 5 heads in a water fountain that is so artfully designed in the middle of a traffic circle.

The spires ,the mythical snake and the bold monuments are a testament to an old
civilisation that had its seat in Angkor that we will visit later in Siem Riep.

Everything you see in Cambodia is influenced by their past civilisation of Angkor.
